The Orchards at Egg HarborBuilt on 200 acres of scenic property, The Orchards at Egg Harbor is a wonder to behold in and of itself. The 18-hole championship golf course is 7,200 yards and winds through enchanting hardwoods, orchards, and meadows. Even experienced golfers may find the 74.4-rated course a bit challenging, but there are fairways to accommodate players of all skill levels.

Alpine Golf Door County If you’re looking to golf with a view, this is the place to be! Alpine Resort and Golf boasts one of the most beautiful views in all of Door County on its 36-hole course. The family-owned business has been welcoming visitors since 1921, making it one of the original vacation destinations on the peninsula. During your visit, be sure to save your camera space for the 9th hole! This is the course that was named “The Most Scenic Hole in the State of Washington.”

Peninsula State Park Golf Course in Ephraim, WIKnown as Door County’s hidden gem, Peninsula State Park golf course was rated a 4-star golf course by Golf Digest. Golfers will enjoy 18-holes spread across white cedar and maple forests with glimpses of the majestic Niagara Escarpment. The golf course also provides its visitors with a restaurant serving up delicious cuisine, on-course food and beverage service, and a pro shop.

Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor, WI Horseshoe Bay Golf Club is Door County’s only private facility and ranked the #4 Private Golf Club in Wisconsin! The championship course meanders through stunning apple orchards while the challenging obstacles are sure to test your physical and mental game. Parks

Beach View Park is located on Beach Road and has a nice sandy beach, a pavilion, a playground area, and a wonderful swimming area. New to the beach this summer is the Sailing Program in partnership with the YMCA. Also new . . . kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals.

Harbor Hounds Dog Park is located on the corner of Church Street and Harbor School Road just East of Hwy 42. There you will find a separate area for small dogs and one for large dogs.

Eames Cherry View Park is located on Church Street. There is a band shelter at this park that is available for rent. During the summer season on Sundays a free sunset concert series by renowned musicians is presented.

Harbor View Park is located on the corner of Hwy 42 and County Road G. It has nice walking paths and a few gazebos to sit and watch the sunset.

Bird View Park is located on County Road G. This is a natural park area that the Village is working on placing a walking and biking path through.

Beaches

Schoolhouse Beach in Door County Recently named the most romantic spot in Wisconsin by Travel + Leisure, Schoolhouse Beach is one of Door County’s prized gems. It is also a geological marvel as it is one of only 5 beaches comprised of limestone in the world! The crystal clear waters are also fairly warm due to north winds pushing surface waters into the harbor. Picnicking, snorkeling, rafting, and swimming are very popular activities at the park.

Whitefish Dunes Beach This state park protects the fragile dune environment in eastern Door County. Whitefish Dunes Beach is a prime location for wildlife viewing as many species of waterfowl and birds make their homes here. Visitors are welcome to stroll along the beach, go for a swim, or fish in the shallow Lake Michigan waters. You’ll also find a variety of other things to do in the park such as hiking the boardwalk through the wetlands, exploring the forests, or year-round programs at the nature center.

Egg Harbor Beach Egg Harbor Beach is one of the most popular family beaches in Door County. A variety of amenities including a pavilion, playground area, restrooms, showers, and more make it easy to spend the entire day here! It is also a great location for swimming and fishing with the nearby marina and floating docks.

Ellison Bay Beach Located just north of Sister Bay, Ellison Bay is a gold mine for nature lovers and beachgoers alike. One of the most beautiful views in Door County can be found at the Ellison Bluff County Park catwalk that overlooks the lake from a 100-foot bluff.
